Plan Details

• Network: Enjoy a stable, high-quality connection with direct access to the native KDDI network across Japan.
• Hotspot Sharing: Supported. You can share your connection with other devices, though tethering may be limited on unlimited plans.
• Usage Monitoring: Please note that this plan does not offer a feature to check your remaining data volume, installation status, or activation status.

Activation and Validity

• Validity Period: Your plan is valid for 180 days starting from the moment of activation.
• Activation Process: Activation is completely automatic. It begins as soon as your eSIM connects to the KDDI network upon your arrival in Japan.
• Extensions: This eSIM plan cannot be topped up or extended. If you require additional service, you will need to purchase a new plan.

Before You Purchase

• Device Compatibility: Please ensure your mobile device is eSIM compatible and unlocked from any carrier restrictions before buying.
• Refund Policy: Once the QR code has been issued, this product is not eligible for refunds or cancellations.
• Recommendation: We strongly advise installing the eSIM profile on your device using a stable Wi-Fi connection before you begin your travels.

Installation Instructions

• For iOS: Navigate to Settings > Cellular (or Mobile Data) > Add eSIM, and scan the QR code provided.
• For Android: Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile Network > Add Carrier, and scan the QR code.
  (Please note that these steps may vary slightly depending on your device's brand and model. Consult your phone’s user guide if needed.)

Important Information

• The QR code for your eSIM will be delivered to your email after purchase. This code is for a one-time installation on a single device. Please do not delete the eSIM profile from your phone, as it cannot be recovered or re-installed.
• For best results, install the eSIM profile before you depart, but only switch your device's mobile data over to the eSIM plan once you have arrived in Japan to trigger activation.
• This is a local Japanese plan and does not require you to turn on data roaming.
• 5G network availability is subject to local coverage and your device's capabilities. Your phone will automatically connect to a 4G/LTE network if 5G is unavailable.
